How it works

1. Activate King Macar by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping King Macar.
3. King Macar triggers, allowing you to exile a creature and create a Gold token if you do so.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms King Macar, the Gold-Cursed into a relentless exile engine by using Paradise Mantle to grant him the tap ability he needs to generate mana and trigger his own untap mechanics. Once Freed from the Real is attached, you can endlessly pay blue mana to untap him, which fires off his inspired ability to systematically wipe away every creature your opponents control while showering you in Gold tokens. It's a wonderful demonstration of how a single aura and a humble piece of equipment can bend a royal curse into an endless, mana-generating removal machine.
