How it works

  1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
  2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the undying creature.
  3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
  4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
  5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop revolves around turning an opponent's side of the board into a counter-prevention zone using Blightbeetle, whose static ability ensures that creatures entering or returning under that opponent's control can never receive +1/+1 counters. By using Wrong Turn to hand that Blightbeetle over to your adversary, you set the stage to repeatedly sacrifice your own undying creature to Viscera Seer. Normally, undying would return a creature with a counter to prevent infinite recursion, but Blightbeetle's passive prohibition steps in to strip that restriction away, allowing the creature to return cleanly over and over again for an endless stream of sacrifice and death triggers.
