How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop exploits a cruel interaction between an opponent's own static impediment and a recursive creature's best intentions. By casting Wrong Turn, you gift your opponent a Blightbeetle, whose passive ability strictly forbids any +1/+1 counters from being placed on their creatures. Once they are saddled with the beetle, you can continuously sacrifice your own undying creature to Phyrexian Altar for colored mana; when the creature tries to return with its signature +1/+1 counter, Blightbeetle's unyielding presence steps in to deny the counter entirely, allowing the creature to die and recur endlessly.
