How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns a seemingly defensive insect into the ultimate sacrificial engine by first using Wrong Turn to hand your opponent control of Blightbeetle. Because Blightbeetle's static ability prevents your opponents' creatures from receiving +1/+1 counters, any creature you control with undying that dies can never actually get that counter placed upon it when it returns. This allows you to continuously feed that same creature into Shilgengar, Sire of Famine's sacrifice ability to generate an endless stream of Blood tokens and trigger infinite enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death events.
