How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

By using Wrong Turn to hand your opponent a Blightbeetle, you weaponize its static prevention ability against their own ranks, locking them out of ever placing +1/+1 counters on their creatures. With that hostile anchor in place, Phantom Train can repeatedly sacrifice your own creatures to feed its growth and trigger an infinite loop of leaves-the-battlefield, entry, and death events. Because Blightbeetle stands guard on the opponent's side of the board, any creature returning with an undying-style mechanic will fail to receive its mitigating counters, allowing the engine to fire endlessly without running out of fuel.
