How it works

1. Activate Cinderhaze Wretch's first ability by tapping it.
2. Activate Cinderhaze Wretch's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters, Elegant Entourage triggers, giving Cinderhaze Wretch +1/+1 until end of turn.
5. Resolve the Cinderhaze Wretch ability from step 2, untapping it.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Cinderhaze Wretch's self-untapping ability into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing its own cost: placing a -1/-1 counter on itself triggers Flourishing Defenses to spawn an Elf Warrior token. Each time that token enters the battlefield, Elegant Entourage’s *Alliance* ability steps in to grant Cinderhaze Wretch a +1/+1 buff, which conveniently cancels out the accumulated -1/-1 counter and keeps the creature alive through the strain. By repeatedly tapping the Wretch to force card discard while feeding this counter-and-token loop, you generate an arbitrarily large army of tokens and infinite creature entries.
