How it works

1. Activate Grim Poppet by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Glasspool Mimic
2. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Glasspool Mimic by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Grim Poppet.
4. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token.
5. Repeat.

This clever setup turns a simple distribution of counters into a self-sustaining loop by taking advantage of the clone effect on Glasspool Mimic, which enters as a copy of Grim Poppet. With both the original Poppet and its Mimic-copy staring each other down, Grim Poppet's activated ability removes its own -1/-1 counters to place them on the other, pinging back and forth while Flourishing Defenses watches the counters fly and floods your board with an endless army of 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature tokens.
