How it works

1. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters, Elegant Entourage triggers, giving Devoted Druid +1/+1 until end of turn.
5. Resolve the Devoted Druid ability from step 2, untapping it.
6. Repeat.

This clever synergy relies on Devoted Druid's self-contained untap ability, which lets you repeatedly place -1/-1 counters on it to generate infinite untaps. Each time you feed that counter into Devoted Druid, Flourishing Defenses spots the event and immediately rewards you with a fresh 1/1 green Elf Warrior token. That influx of tokens continuously wakes up Elegant Entourage, whose Alliance ability funnels a steady stream of +1/+1 buffs and trample straight back onto Devoted Druid to offset its shrinking toughness.
