How it works

  1. Cast Chronozoa by paying 3U mana. It will enter without a time counter on it due to Solemnity.
  2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Chronozoa.
  3. When Chronozoa dies, it triggers, creating two token copies of itself that also enter with no time counters on them due to Solemnity.
  4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
  5. Repeat from step 2 using a token copy of Chronozoa instead.

This elegant loop relies on Solemnity to completely rewrite the rules of time for Chronozoa, ensuring that every copy enters the battlefield with zero time counters. Because Chronozoa enters with no counters, its dying trigger condition is permanently primed, allowing you to feed it to Viscera Seer whenever you please. Every time you sacrifice a Chronozoa, its ability replaces it with two brand-new token copies—each ready to be sacrificed in turn for infinite death triggers, sacrifice triggers, and endless scry 1 utility.
