How it works

1. Cast Chronozoa by paying 3. It will enter without a time counter on it due to Solemnity.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Chronozoa.
3. When Chronozoa dies, it triggers, creating two token copies of itself that also enter with no time counters on them due to Solemnity.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat from step 2 using a token copy of Chronozoa instead.

This ingenious loop centers around Solemnity, whose passive enchantment effect prevents any counters from ever being placed on creatures. Because of this, when you cast Chronozoa, it completely bypasses its usual Vanishing mechanic and enters the battlefield with zero time counters. This sets the stage for Chronozoa's death trigger to immediately duplicate itself whenever it dies. By feeding it to Carrion Feeder, you instantly trigger the creation of two fresh token copies—both of which also enter counterless thanks to Solemnity—allowing you to sacrifice them indefinitely to grow Carrion Feeder while generating infinite creature tokens and death triggers.
