How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Helm of Awakening.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Anointer Priest triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Whitemane Lion. When it enters, it and Anointer Priest trigger.
5. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Anointer Priest trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns the self-bouncing nature of Whitemane Lion into a perpetual motion machine by reducing its mana cost to zero with Helm of Awakening and the life-payment ability of Defiler of Faith. Every time the Lion enters the battlefield, Defiler of Faith triggers to forge a fresh 1/1 Soldier creature token, which in turn causes Anointer Priest to flood you with endless life. As the Whitemane Lion resolves, its own entry trigger forces it right back to your hand so you can immediately cast it again, feeding the engine indefinitely for infinite triggers and tokens.
