How it works
- Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
- When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Anointer Priest triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
- Repeat.
This engine turns a single activation of Mite Overseer into a self-sustaining loop of life, mana, and tokens, thanks to Quina, Qu Gourmet replacing each single token creation with both a Phyrexian Mite and an extra Frog token. As those multiple bodies hit the battlefield, Anointer Priest triggers to pad your life total, providing a comfortable buffer if you choose to pay life for Mite Overseer's Phyrexian mana cost. Finally, Ashnod's Altar converts those newly minted tokens into a surplus of colorless mana, more than paying to repeat the cycle infinitely.
