How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Anointer Priest triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Anointer Priest trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Anointer Priest trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This looping engine turns a humble Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining storm machine by leveraging cost reduction to drop its mana value to zero. With The Immortal Sun shaving off generic mana and Defiler of Faith trading your life total for white mana, you can recast the Skyfisher for free over and over again, using its own entry trigger to bounce itself right back to your hand. Meanwhile, every iteration of this bounce-and-recast loop squeezes extra value from your board: Defiler of Faith rewards your white permanent spells by spawning a steady stream of Soldier creature tokens, which in turn trigger Anointer Priest to pad your life total back up and outpace the life you pay to the Defiler.
