How it works

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Woodfall Primus.
  2. Woodfall Primus's persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield with no counters on it due to Woodfall Primus's riot ability.
  3. Woodfall Primus enters the battlefield, destroying target noncreature permanent.
  4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia's ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Woodfall Primus' power.
  5. Repeat.
