How it works

  1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3U manaU mana.
  2. Riku's first ability triggers - choose not to pay.
  3. Holding priority, cast Narset's Reversal by paying U manaU mana, targeting Temporal Manipulation.
  4. Riku's first ability triggers, causing you to pay U manaR mana to copy Narset's Reversal, with the copy targeting the original Narset's Reversal.
  5. Resolve the copy of Narset's Reversal, copying the original Narset's Reversal targeting Temporal Manipulation, and returning the original Narset's Reversal to your hand.
  6. Resolve the copy of Narset's Reversal created in step 5, copying Temporal Manipulation and returning the original Temporal Manipulation to your hand.
  7. Resolve Temporal Manipulation, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  8. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop lets you take infinite turns by endlessly recycling your spells with the help of Riku of Two Reflections. By casting Temporal Manipulation and responding with Narset's Reversal targeting it, you set up a chain where Riku of Two Reflections duplicates your bounce spell so it can return both the original copy of Narset's Reversal and the original Temporal Manipulation right back to your hand. This leaves you free to replay Temporal Manipulation on your extra turn, securing absolute control over the game.
