How it works

  1. Cast Alrund's Epiphany by paying 5U manaU mana.
  2. Riku's first ability triggers - choose not to pay.
  3. Holding priority, cast Narset's Reversal by paying U manaU mana, targeting Alrund's Epiphany.
  4. Riku's first ability triggers, causing you to pay U manaR mana to copy Narset's Reversal, with the copy targeting the original Narset's Reversal.
  5. Resolve the copy of Narset's Reversal, copying the original Narset's Reversal targeting Alrund's Epiphany, and returning the original Narset's Reversal to your hand.
  6. Resolve the copy of Narset's Reversal created in step 5, copying Alrund's Epiphany and returning the original Alrund's Epiphany to your hand.
  7. Resolve Alrund's Epiphany, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  8. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop hinges on a recursive spell-bouncing dance to take all the time in the multiverse. By casting Alrund's Epiphany for its extra turn, you set the stage, but instead of letting it resolve normally, you intercept it with Narset's Reversal. Riku of Two Reflections then steps in to supercharge the interaction, allowing you to pay mana to copy Narset's Reversal so that the original bounces right back to your hand while the copy handles the spell work. This leaves you with infinite turns and your key spells safely returned to hand, ready to be cast again and again.
