How it works

1. Cast Angel's Grace by paying .
2. Cause a creature to enter the battlefield under your control.
3. Terror of the Peaks triggers, dealing damage to you equal to the creature's power, with your life total becoming no lower than 1 due to Angel's Grace.
4. Darien triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Soldier creature tokens equal to the damage dealt to you.
5. When the Soldiers enter the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks triggers that many times.
6. Resolve the first trigger, dealing 1 damage to you, with your life total becoming no lower than 1 due to Angel's Grace.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This loop kicks off by casting Angel's Grace, whose replacement effect ensures your life total can never drop below 1 for the rest of the turn, effectively shielding you from lethal self-harm. Once a creature enters the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks sees it and attempts to deal damage to you equal to its power; thanks to Angel's Grace, this damage drops your life total to 1 instead of killing you. That self-inflicted damage triggers Darien, King of Kjeldor to create a matching horde of 1/1 Soldier tokens. As those Soldiers flood the board, Terror of the Peaks triggers for each new arrival, looping the damage right back to your own face to continuously restart Darien's token generation.
