How it works

1. Cause a creature to enter the battlefield under your control.
2. Terror of the Peaks triggers, dealing damage to you equal to the creature's power, with your life total not changing due to Platinum Emperion.
3. Darien triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Soldier creature tokens equal to the damage dealt to you.
4. When the Soldiers enter the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks triggers that many times.
5. Resolve the first trigger, dealing 1 damage to you, with your life total not changing due to Platinum Emperion.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop transforms self-inflicted damage into an unstoppable army, all safely insulated by Platinum Emperion locking your life total in place so you can never actually be harmed. Once any creature enters the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks triggers to deal damage to you equal to that creature's power; even though your life total doesn't budge, the damage is still technically *dealt*, which satisfies the trigger condition for Darien, King of Kjeldor. Darien responds by minting a matching number of 1/1 Soldier creature tokens, and because those new tokens entering the battlefield are creatures you control, they immediately reactivate Terror of the Peaks to loop the entire process indefinitely.
