How it works

1. At the beginning of your combat phase, God-Pharaoh's Gift triggers, exiling Tree of Perdition from your graveyard and creating a token copy of it that is a 4/4 Zombie with haste.
2. When the Tree of Perdition token enters the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate the Tree of Perdition token by tapping it, swapping an opponent's life total with Tree of Perdition's toughness.
4. Resolve the Terror of the Peaks trigger, causing it to deal damage equal to Tree of Perdition's power to the opponent whose life total was swapped.
5. The opponent loses the game due to having 0 life.

This clever reanimation loop lets you close out a game from nowhere by turning a graveyarded defender into an instant-kill threat. It all starts when God-Pharaoh's Gift pulls Tree of Perdition out of your graveyard as a 4/4 haste zombie at the beginning of combat. The moment that token enters the battlefield, Terror of the Peaks sees a creature arrive and triggers its damage ability. Before that damage resolves, you tap the Tree of Perdition token to swap an opponent's life total with its toughness (which is 13), immediately dropping them to 13 life; then, the Terror of the Peaks trigger resolves, dealing damage equal to the token's power (4) directly to that same opponent, which happens to reduce their remaining life total down to absolute zero.
