How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Lathril, triggering Breath of Fury and Lathril.
2. Resolve the Lathril trigger, creating at least one creature token.
3. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This brilliant loop relies on setting up Lathril, Blade of the Elves and any suitable attacker to deliver a lethal stream of combat damage. When enchanted by Breath of Fury, that attacker feeds the Aura's sacrifice requirement upon dealing damage, which in turn untaps your board and grants you an additional combat phase. Meanwhile, Hammer of Purphoros ensures your newly created tokens and attackers can immediately join the fray with haste, and its land-sacrifice ability can even help jumpstart your token army if needed.
