How it works
- Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
- Breath of Fury and Orochi Soul-Reaver trigger.
- Resolve the Orochi Soul-Reaver trigger, creating a Treasure token and causing you to manifest the top card of the damaged opponent's library.
- Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the manifested card, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This brilliant loop relies on Hammer of Purphoros to grant your entire team haste, ensuring any new creature can immediately press the attack. By enchanting a creature with Breath of Fury and dealing combat damage to a player, you trigger both the Aura and Orochi Soul-Reaver to generate a Treasure token and a manifested card from the opponent's library. When Breath of Fury resolves, it sacrifices your original attacker and leaps directly onto that newly manifested creature, untapping your board and granting an endless chain of additional combat phases.
