How it works

1. Cast Clockspinning by paying due to Samut.
2. Namor triggers, creating a 1/1 Merfolk creature token.
3. Resolve Clockspinning.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Merfolk, adding .
5. Repeat.

This loop turns a modest blue cantrip into a self-sustaining engine by taking advantage of cost reduction and token generation. With Samut, the Driving Force actively reducing your noncreature spell costs by an amount equal to your speed, you can cast Clockspinning for a single blue mana, which in turn triggers Namor the Sub-Mariner to flood the board with Merfolk tokens. You then feed one of those newly minted Merfolk into Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact blue mana needed to recast the spell. Because Clockspinning targets a counter and safely loops back to your hand via its buyback cost, you can repeat this entire cycle endlessly to generate infinite storm count, sacrifices, and enter-the-battlefield triggers.
