How it works

  1. Activate Chromatic Orrery's first ability by tapping it, adding 5.
  2. Cast Clockspinning with buyback by paying 4, targeting Chromatic Orrery.
  3. Orvar's first ability triggers, creating a token copy of Chromatic Orrery.
  4. Resolve Clockspinning, returning it to your hand.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Once you have infinite mana, you may instead activate the Chromatic Orrery tokens using their second abilities, or target any other permanent.

This loop relies on Chromatic Orrery to generate five generic mana, just enough to fund casting Clockspinning with its buyback cost while leaving mana to spare. Each time Clockspinning targets the Orrery, Orvar, the All-Form triggers to create an untransformed token copy of the Orrery, allowing you to rapidly multiply your mana-producing power and color-fixing. Meanwhile, Cadric, Soul Kindler quietly ensures that any legendary permanents you replicate along the way safely ignore the legend rule, opening the door to an overwhelming horde of token copies and infinite card draw.
