How it works

  1. During an opponent's turn, after their upkeep step, activate all lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 4U manaU manaU manaU mana.
  2. Cast Reset by paying U manaU mana.
  3. Holding priority, activate Mischievous Quanar's morph ability by paying 1U manaU mana, turning it face up.
  4. Mischievous Quanar triggers, copying Reset.
  5. Resolve the copy of Reset, untapping all lands you control.
  6. Activate all lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 4U manaU manaU manaU mana.
  7. Activate Mischievous Quanar by paying 3U manaU mana, turning it face down.
  8. Repeat from step 3.
  9. If lands you control can tap to produce at least 5U manaU manaU manaU mana, this combo nets infinite mana, which you can then use to activate Mischievous Quanar to get infinite copies of any other instant and/or sorcery spell(s) on the stack.

This clever loop plays out entirely on an opponent's turn, relying on the strict timing window of Reset to safely untap your mana base. By sinking that mana into Mischievous Quanar, you can repeatedly turn it face up to copy the very Reset that keeps untapping your lands, generating a massive surplus of mana along the way. Whenever you need to reset the creature back to its face-down state, Mischievous Quanar's own morph-turning ability lets you cycle it back down for {3}{U}{U} to prep the next iteration. Once your lands produce enough to sustain the loop, you can redirect those copied triggers to duplicate any other instant or sorcery spells sitting on the stack as many times as you desire.
