How it works

1. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Flayer of the Hatebound.
2. Flayer of the Hatebound dies due to having 0 toughness, triggering its undying ability and Kheru Bloodsucker
3. Resolve the Kheru Bloodsucker trigger, causing you to gain 2 life and causing an opponent to lose 2 life.
4. Resolve the Flayer of the Hatebound trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Champion of the Weird ability from step 1, causing an opponent to blight 2.
6. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Flayer of the Hatebound, causing an opponent to blight 2.
7. Repeat.
