How it works
- Activate the planeswalker with Elspeth's Talent attached by putting two loyalty counters on it, creating three 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing two Soldiers, adding CCCC.
- Activate The Chain Veil by paying 4 and tapping it, allowing an extra activation of your planeswalkers' loyalty abilities this turn.
- Activate Teferi's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, untapping The Chain Veil and up to other other creature and/or land you control, and causing you to gain 2 life.
- Repeat.
By enchanting your planeswalker with Elspeth's Talent, its newly granted [+1] ability becomes a factory for creating three 1/1 Soldier creature tokens, which you can immediately feed to Ashnod's Altar to generate the exact colorless mana needed to fuel The Chain Veil's activation. With The Chain Veil bypassing normal loyalty restrictions, Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset steps in to untap your mana sources and The Chain Veil itself via its own [+1] ability. This creates a self-sustaining loop where Teferi and your newly empowered planeswalker can endlessly activate their abilities, netting infinite mana, tokens, and untaps along the way.
