How it works

1. During your upkeep step, activate Mairsil using Hakim's first ability by paying , returning Unholy Indenture from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Mairsil.
2. Activate Mairsil using Lion's Eye Diamond's ability by sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding .
3. When Mairisil dies, Unholy Indenture triggers, returning Mairisil from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This intricate loop transforms Mairsil, the Pretender into a self-sustaining engine by feeding on exiled components, utilizing Mairsil's ability to cage Hakim, Loreweaver in order to recur Unholy Indenture directly from the graveyard during your upkeep. Once the enchantment is in place, you can tap into Lion's Eye Diamond for a burst of three mana by sacrificing it and discarding your hand, which conveniently sends Mairsil to the graveyard. This death triggers Unholy Indenture to immediately return Mairsil to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter, allowing you to cage new pieces, recast your exiled spells, and repeat the cycle to generate infinite colored mana along with endless entry and death triggers.
