How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a token copy of the Forest Dryad token.
2. When the Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm and Retreat to Kazandu trigger.
3. Resolve the Retreat to Kazandu trigger, putting a counter on a creature you control.
4. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop hinges on Xavier Sal, Infested Captain acting as the catalyst to copy the land-creature tokens produced by Staff of Titania. Every time Xavier populates a Forest Dryad, its arrival triggers Retreat to Kazandu to place a fresh +1/+1 counter on a permanent, which simultaneously satisfies the counter requirement for Xavier's tap ability while triggering Intruder Alarm to untap your entire board. Because Intruder Alarm untaps Xavier Sal, Infested Captain along with all your other creatures, you can repeat the process indefinitely to flood the battlefield with infinite tokens and landfall triggers.
