How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a token copy of the Forest Dryad token.
2. When the Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm and Bristly Bill trigger.
3. Resolve the Bristly Bill trigger, putting a counter on a creature you control.
4. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on Xavier Sal, Infested Captain to churn out token copies of the Forest Dryad created by Staff of Titania, removing a counter from a permanent to power the populate ability. Every time that Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap all creatures—crucially untapping Xavier Sal so the process can repeat—while Bristly Bill, Spine Sower triggers its landfall ability to place a +1/+1 counter on itself. That newly placed counter provides the exact fuel Xavier Sal needs to strip away and keep the chain going indefinitely, yielding an unstoppable cascade of creature tokens, untaps, and landfall triggers.
