How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a token copy of the Forest Dryad token.
2. When the Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm and Oran-Rief Hydra trigger.
3. Resolve the Oran-Rief Hydra trigger, putting a counter on a creature you control.
4. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This looping engine turns a humble land-creature token into an endless cascade of growth and untapping, anchored by the rapid-fire activation of Xavier Sal, Infested Captain. By tapping Xavier Sal to strip a counter from an existing permanent, you trigger its populate ability to copy the 1/1 green Forest Dryad land creature token generated by Staff of Titania. Each time this new Dryad enters the battlefield, Oran-Rief Hydra grows larger thanks to its landfall-style trigger adding +1/+1 counters, while Intruder Alarm untaps Xavier Sal and all your other creatures so the process can begin anew. This leaves you with an unbounded army of Forest tokens, infinite ETB triggers, and a massive Oran-Rief Hydra ready to trample over any opposition.
