How it works

1. Activate Experiment Kraj using Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
2. Activate Xavier Sal's first ability by tapping it and removing a -1/-1 counter from Experiment Kraj, creating a copy of any creature token you control.
3. Activate Experiment Kraj using Kiora's Follower's ability by tapping it, untapping Xavier Sal.
4. Repeat.

This clever combination turns Experiment Kraj into a self-sustaining engine by harnessing a clever counter-conversion loop. Because Experiment Kraj gains all activated abilities of creatures with +1/+1 counters, it can use Devoted Druid's untap ability—at the cost of stacking up -1/-1 counters on itself. Xavier Sal, Infested Captain steps in to clean up those accumulated -1/-1 counters by tapping to populate, which conveniently fuels the loop while generating an army of creature tokens. Meanwhile, Kiora's Follower uses its tap ability to untap Xavier Sal, Infested Captain so the captain is always ready to clear away another counter and keep the cycle spinning.
