How it works

1. Activate Forensic Researcher by tapping it, targeting Kiora's Follower.
2. Forensic Researcher triggers, causing you to loot.
3. Resolve the Forensic Researcher ability, untapping Kiora's Follower.
4. Activate Kiora's Follower by tapping it, targeting Forensic Researcher.
5. Kiora's Follower triggers, causing you to loot.
6. Resolve the Kiora's Follower ability, untapping Forensic Researcher.
7. Repeat.

This clever engine achieves infinite loops by letting Kiora's Follower and Forensic Researcher endlessly untap one another, creating a self-sustaining cycle of activations. Because Unctus, Grand Metatect grants every blue creature you control the ability to draw and discard a card whenever it becomes tapped, the persistent tapping of both untappers transforms their mutual labor into an endless rummaging spree.
