How it works

1. Activate Mirror of Fate by tapping and sacrificing it, exiling your library.
2. Cast Beacon of Immortality by paying 5, doubling your life total and shuffling it into your library.
3. Cast Beacon of Immortality from the top of your library by paying 6 life, doubling your life total and shuffling it into your library.
4. Repeat step 3.

This cunning loop begins by using Mirror of Fate to banish your library, setting up a curated state where the only card left within reach is Beacon of Immortality. With Gwenom, Remorseless on the battlefield, its deadly lifelink and unique attack trigger allow you to peer into the top of your library and cast spells from it by paying life instead of mana. Because Beacon of Immortality shuffles itself back into your library upon resolution, Mirror of Fate's exile-cleared foundation ensures it is the exact card you repeatedly find and cast. You simply trade a fraction of your life total to cast the Beacon over and over, doubling your life points exponentially with each iteration to achieve an unstoppable loop.
