This locking mechanism relies on the sheer recursive power of Muldrotha, the Gravetide to continually pluck discarded artifacts from your graveyard turn after turn. Once you use Mindslaver to seize control of an opponent's turn, you simply sacrifice it in the process, only to immediately recast it from the graveyard using Muldrotha's ability on your own turn. Because Muldrotha allows you to play a permanent card of each type from your graveyard during each of your turns—and Mindslaver neatly fits the artifact card type—you can replay and reuse the Mindslaver indefinitely, trapping the targeted player in a permanent lock where you control every single one of their subsequent turns.
