How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Illustrious Wanderglyph triggers, creating an artifact token.
2. Activate Shuri by paying 1 and tapping it, causing the artifact token to become a copy of Mindslaver that isn't legendary.
3. Activate the artifact token by paying 4, tapping and sacrificing it, causing you to gain control of target opponent during their next turn.
4. Repeat during each of your turns.

By turning your upkeep routine into a masterclass of control, this loop leverages Shuri, Wakandan Inventor to repeatedly copy the devastating Mindslaver onto an expendable artifact token. That token is itself born from the automated upkeep trigger of Illustrious Wanderglyph, which kindly provides a fresh 1/1 Gnome artifact creature sacrifice-target turn after turn. With Shuri's cost-reduction and copying prowess, you sidestep the legendary rule entirely to puppeteer your opponents indefinitely and lock them out of the game.
