How it works

1. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Lotus Petal from your graveyard.
2. Cast Lotus Petal by paying 0.
3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Emry.
4. When Emry enters, it triggers, causing you to mill four cards.
5. Activate Lotus Petal by tapping and sacrificing it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Emry, Lurker of the Loch into a recursive engine by utilizing her tap ability to continually pull Lotus Petal straight out of your graveyard. Every time you recast that free artifact, Displacer Kitten’s avoidance trigger jumps in to blink Emry, wiping away her summoning sickness and letting her mill more cards while simultaneously resetting her tap ability. Meanwhile, Rising of the Day ensures that Emry immediately gains haste upon returning, allowing her to tap again right away and keep the cycle spinning infinitely.
