How it works

  1. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Welding Jar from your graveyard.
  2. Cast Welding Jar by paying 0.
  3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Emry.
  4. When Emry enters, it triggers, causing you to mill four cards.
  5. Activate Welding Jar by sacrificing it.
  6. Repeat.

This intricate loop relies on Emry, Lurker of the Loch pulling a cheap artifact from your graveyard every time she taps, a process supercharged by Thousand-Year Elixir granting her pseudo-haste and an untap outlet. By casting that freshly recovered Welding Jar for zero mana, you trigger Displacer Kitten to blink Emry right back out of harm's way and onto the battlefield anew. This flicker not only resets Emry's tap ability to repeat the entire cycle, but also triggers her entry effect to continuously churn through your library with self-mill. Meanwhile, the Welding Jar you keep casting can be sacrificed at will to protect your key pieces or simply feed your sacrifice triggers, turning a humble one-mana artifact into an engine of endless iteration.
