How it works

1. Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
4. Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
5. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
6. Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This dazzling loop centers on casting Flickering Ward to trigger Displacer Kitten, which continuously blinks Overlord of the Hauntwoods to generate an endless stream of lands. Thanks to Virtue of Knowledge doubling those entry triggers, every blink produces multiple Everywhere land tokens that immediately enter untapped and ready to produce mana because of Horizon Explorer's passive presence. You can use the mana produced by these Everywhere tokens to pay the activation cost of Flickering Ward, bouncing it back to your hand so you can recast it and keep the entire engine spinning indefinitely.
