How it works
- Cast Crown of Flames by paying .
- Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
- When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
- Resolve the Crown of Flames spell.
- Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
- Activate Crown of Flames by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
- Repeat.
This loop relies on the constant re-casting of Crown of Flames to trigger Displacer Kitten, which repeatedly blinks Overlord of the Hauntwoods. Thanks to Starfield Vocalist, that blinking creates multiple Everywhere land tokens on each iteration, which instantly enter the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer's static ability. Tapping those new Everywhere tokens for mana easily funds the entire loop, allowing you to pay for Crown of Flames, float extra mana, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
