How it works

1. Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Spelunking.
4. Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
5. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
6. Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Displacer Kitten as the engine, turning every noncreature spell you cast into a way to reset your board state. By enchanting a creature with Flickering Ward, you can repeatedly bounce the Aura back to your hand for a single white mana, casting it over and over to continuously trigger the Kitten and blink Overlord of the Hauntwoods. Thanks to Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines doubling those entry triggers, each blink yields a torrent of land tokens, which immediately enter untapped to fuel your mana requirements because of Spelunking.
