How it works

1. Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
4. Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
5. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
6. Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple aura bounce into an overwhelming engine by leveraging the passive amplification of Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Horizon Explorer. When you cast Flickering Ward, Displacer Kitten triggers to exile and blink Overlord of the Hauntwoods; thanks to Elesh Norn, that entrance triggers twice to flood the board with Everywhere land tokens that immediately enter untapped because of Horizon Explorer. You can then tap those newly made lands for mana to pay the activation cost of Flickering Ward, returning the Aura to your hand so you can cast it again.
