How it works

1. Cast Shimmering Wings by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
4. Resolve the Shimmering Wings spell.
5. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
6. Activate Shimmering Wings by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Displacer Kitten turning every noncreature spell you cast into a targeted blink engine, which we use here to continuously reset Overlord of the Hauntwoods. With Yarok, the Desecrated doubling all those enter-the-battlefield triggers, each blink floods your board with Everywhere land tokens—which Horizon Explorer ensures immediately enter the battlefield untapped and ready to tap for mana. By utilizing the self-bouncing activated ability of Shimmering Wings as our recurring noncreature spell, we can endlessly recast the Aura to trigger the Kitten, fueling the loop's mana costs while generating an infinite storm count and endless triggers for your permanents.
