How it works

1. Cast Shimmering Wings by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens, which enter untapped due to Archelos.
4. Resolve the Shimmering Wings spell.
5. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
6. Activate Shimmering Wings by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This infinite loop is masterminded by Displacer Kitten, which rewards every noncreature spell you cast by blinking a nonland permanent—in this case, Overlord of the Hauntwoods. Because Starfield Vocalist doubles triggered abilities, each blink of Overlord of the Hauntwoods triggers twice, spitting out multiple Everyday land tokens that immediately enter untapped thanks to Archelos, Lagoon Mystic keeping things loose. You can then tap those newly minted tokens for the exact mana needed to replay Shimmering Wings, whose own activated ability lets you bounce it right back to your hand for {U} to keep the noncreature spell engine spinning endlessly.
