How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Cast Field of Reality by paying its mana cost, targeting Displacer Kitten
3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Great Whale.
4. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
5. Resolve the Field of Reality spell.
6. Activate Field of Reality by paying 1, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Great Whale into a self-contained mana engine by constantly resetting its land-untapping entrance trigger. Whenever you cast Field of Reality, Displacer Kitten's avoidance ability goes to work, exiling and instantly returning the Whale to the battlefield. Because Field of Reality features an activated ability that returns it right back to your hand for just one blue and generic mana, you can recast the Aura endlessly. Every single iteration leaves you with more mana from your lands than you put into it, netting infinite untaps, storm count, and blinking power.
