How it works

1. Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding three mana of any color.
2. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it, exiling your graveyard.
3. Activate Karn's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, returning Lion's Eye Diamond from exile to your hand.
4. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond by paying 0.
5. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Karn.
6. Activate Karn's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, returning Tormod's Crypt from exile to your hand.
7. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying 0.
8. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Karn.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Karn, the Great Creator to constantly recycle zero-mana artifacts right out of exile, turning a modest setup into an infinite engine. By casting Lion's Eye Diamond for free, you trigger Displacer Kitten to blink Karn, resetting his loyalty so he can immediately pluck the sacrificed Diamond right back out of exile. You fold Tormod's Crypt into the rotation as another free noncreature spell to keep the Kitten blinking Karn endlessly, letting you farm infinite colored mana and an unbounded storm count in the process.
