How it works

1. Activate up to five lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 1.
2. Cast Ghitu Firebreathing by paying its mana cost, targeting Displacer Kitten
3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Peregrine Drake.
4. When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to five lands.
5. Resolve the Ghitu Firebreathing spell.
6. Activate Ghitu Firebreathing by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the unassuming Aura Ghitu Firebreathing into a self-contained engine by exploiting the constant blinking power of Displacer Kitten. Every time you cast the Aura as a noncreature spell, the Kitten triggers to exile and return Peregrine Drake, whose entry ability immediately untaps your lands to pay for it all. To keep the chain going, you simply bounce Ghitu Firebreathing back to your hand using its own activated ability, resetting the cycle for infinite mana, untaps, and spell casts across formats like Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
