How it works

1. Cast Sensei's Divining Top either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0.
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, and The Fourth Doctor triggers if you had cast Sensei's Divining Top from your library.
3. Resolve the Displacer Kitten trigger, blinking The Fourth Doctor.
4. Resolve the Fourth Doctor trigger, if applicable, creating a Food token.
5. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top onto the top of your library.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the unassuming Sensei's Divining Top into an infinite card-drawing and artifact-generating engine by taking advantage of the static abilities binding the pieces together. With The Fourth Doctor granting you the ability to look at the top of your library and play historic spells from it, you can cast the Top for free if Temur Battlecrier's cost reduction is high enough. Every time you cast that noncreature artifact, Displacer Kitten triggers to blink the Doctor, resetting its once-per-turn restriction and letting you stack your triggers. Finally, tapping Sensei's Divining Top to draw a card puts it right back on top of your library so you can cast it again, feeding you an endless stream of Food tokens, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and your entire deck.
