How it works
- Activate Necrotic Ooze using Garth One-Eye's ability by tapping it, causing you to pay 0 to cast a copy of Black Lotus.
- Activate Black Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Activate Necrotic Ooze using Barrenton Medic's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
- Activate Necrotic Ooze using Garth One-Eye's ability by tapping it, causing you to pay 1 to cast a copy of Regrowth.
- Resolve Regrowth, returning Garth One-Eye to your hand from your graveyard.
- Activate Necrotic Ooze using Tireless Tribe's ability by discarding Garth One-Eye, giving Necrotic Ooze +0/+4 until end of turn.
- Activate Necrotic Ooze using Barrenton Medic's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite , you may sacrifice Black Lotus for any other color of mana, and use that to cast any other spells from Garth One-Eye's ability.
By granting Necrotic Ooze access to a graveyard full of key creature abilities, this loop transforms a single ooze into a self-sustaining engine. While Tireless Tribe provides a way to discard cards to pump toughness and Barrenton Medic lets you place -1/-1 counters to endlessly untap the Ooze, it is Garth One-Eye’s terrifying versatility that makes the magic happen. By copying Black Lotus for free mana and Regrowth to continuously fish Garth One-Eye back out of the graveyard after discarding him, you can generate infinite green mana and cycle through every single spell Garth One-Eye has to offer.
