How it works

1. Activate Ur-Golem's Eye by tapping it, adding CC.
2. Activate Pentavus's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Pentavite creature token.
3. Activate Pentavus's second ability by paying 1 and sacrificing the Pentavite.
4. When the Pentavite dies, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping Ur-Golem's Eye.
5. Resolve the Pentavus ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Ur-Golem's Eye from a simple mana source into an engine by cycling through Pentavus's ability to create and sacrifice Pentavite tokens. Each time a Pentavite hits the graveyard, Dross Scorpion springs into action with its triggered ability to untap Ur-Golem's Eye, refunding the mana needed to keep the cycle going. Meanwhile, Pentavus continuously replenishes its own +1/+1 counters to sustain the process, generating an unending stream of artifact creature sacrifices and trigger events.
