How it works

1. Activate Pentavus' first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating two 1/1 Pentavite artifact creature tokens.
2. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing a Pentavite, adding CC.
3. Activate Pentavus' second ability by paying 1 and sacrificing a Pentavite, putting a +1/+1 counter on Pentavus.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Pentavus into a self-sustaining engine by constantly spending and replenishing its counters while generating extra resources. The secret multiplier is Mondrak, Glory Dominus, whose replacement effect ensures that whenever you crack a counter to make a Pentavite, you actually get a double batch of token creatures instead. You can then feed those newly minted tokens directly into Krark-Clan Ironworks to generate the mana needed to keep activating Pentavus's abilities on repeat.
